Seek Ye the kingdom

The Lord Jesus was giving a Sermon on the Mount and The Lord spoke among many other things about the people’s anxiety and worry concerning what to eat and what clothes to put on. In this Sermon, The Lord talked about how people preoccupied themselves with their problems and forgot God’s Kingdom.
In Matt. 6:33, The Lord enjoined as follows: “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Does this not reflect our present attitude as believers? We tend to be more concerned about things above the Kingdom of God. We misplace our priorities and wonder why we are not receiving solutions to our problems and challenges. We need to do things in God’s way. God says seek My Kingdom and I will give you all the stuff you need.
Dear Brethren, the plain truth you must hear today is: the principal and most effective solution key to any problem is discovered when you first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Let it be known that God has a need and He is looking for Vessels who will meet those needs. God is not in the business of forcing man to do anything against his will. God is interested in seekers of His Kingdom who are prepared to sacrifice their will for the Will of God.It is only the seekers of the Kingdom of God and His righteousness that are able to know His Will. As we know the Will of God, He demands that we do it even though it might hurt and crush our self-will
When we do the Will of God, we are indirectly solving the problems of God on earth. What you make happen for God, God will make happen for you. God is indeed saying if you seek My Kingdom and righteousness (thus solving God’s problems), then without you asking me, I will identify your problems and solve them.
See also St. John 15:7 – “If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what ye will and it shall be done.” As you put the kingdom of God and his righteousness as your first priority, believe God to bring solutions to your problems.
To seek His Kingdom, we need:
• To have a relationship with Him through the Lord Jesus
• To love Him
• To sacrifice our self-will for His Kingdom

Prayer Point: Lord, I crave for your Kingdom and righteousness. Let my self-will be cushed in The Will of God in Jesus Name.

You are a solution

When God created Man, they said let us make man in our own image and in our likeness. Man was commissioned to have dominion over the earth – see Genesis 1:26.
Inherent in the above position is the fact that Man was created for an assisgnment. Every assignment has a challenge and this challenge is a pointer to a problem you are meant to solve. No problem, no assignment.
God has created us to be problem solvers. It must however be said that we are not called to solve every problem. God has wired human being with a unique gift and the ability to solve certain problems with ease.
Never you say I am no good. That is a lie from the pit of hell. There is something in you that no other person possesses. You are created special and peculiar; mechanics solve mechanical problems, medical doctors solve medical problems, etc.
The situation with the most people is that they do not know the problem they were created to solve. The only person that can lead you to discover the problem you were craeted to solve is Jesus Christ. The Lord told Jeremiah: “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5
In the same manner, God is telling us that even before we were born, you have been ordained to be a Problem Solver. Discover the problem you were created to solve and make a glorious difference to your generation. Looking further down to verse 6 of Jeremiah 1, Jeremiah saw himself as incapable of being a Prophet unto nations. Many are like Jeremiah who does not know the problem they were created to solve. They even look down upon themselves and underestimate their value and worth.
Prayer Points:
O Lord, by Your Spirit, stir up every dormant divine gift in me in Jesus Name.
O Lord, help me to discover my worth and value in your Kingdom.
Holy Spirit, help me to discover the problem I was created to solve in Jesus Nmae.
O Lord, make me an answer to somebody’s problem in the Name of Jesus
